At Ecotricity Business, we are very proud of our industry-leading installation times; we’ll typically have you connected and on supply with us within 20 working days of your application and 15 days from contract agreement.
Here are the four stages to getting connected with us.
Application and quote: To start your journey towards joining us in our mission to eliminate fossil fuels, you can apply either by emailing new.connections@ecotricity.co.uk or visiting our quick and easy quoting platform. We’ll quote for 100% renewable electricity or carbon neutralised gas supply and will then be fully upfront about every cost involved, so you won’t find any nasty surprises lurking in the small print.
Contract signing and registration: Once the contract has been signed and locked in, we begin registering the site as the supplier. This can take up to five working days.
Meter installation: Within 24 hours of the contract being locked in, we will send a request to your Meter Operator. An appointment date is typically confirmed within five working days, with installation expected within 15 working days. We will give expert advice on metering options, including smart meters, single phase and bespoke half-hourly. Our metering agents can accommodate any bespoke requirements.
Account setup: Once installation is confirmed, we will finalise the setup and billing will begin according to the agreed terms. That means you can put your feet up knowing that your business is demonstrating its commitment to net zero by supporting the build-up of Britain’s green energy infrastructure.
