We are proud to be the headline and innovation partner for this year’s Festival of Sustainable Business, hosted by Future Leap. Our support of the event is rooted in our shared mission with Future Leap: to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) take meaningful action on the road to Net Zero.
The Festival of Sustainable Business, which is set to take place in Bristol on 9-10 June, provides a platform for green businesses from across the southwest to explore solutions to sustainability challenges, learning from providers and hearing the experiences of net zero leaders.
Dale Vince OBE, Founder of Ecotricity, said: “We’re joining forces with Future Leap to support Bristol’s Festival of Sustainable Business. It’s all about sharing what works, learning what doesn’t, and helping more organisations get on the path to net zero. We’re looking forward to hearing from the green pioneers of the South West and beyond. There’s a lot of good stuff happening out there.”
The two-day event will feature a free-to-attend exhibition showcasing over 70 organisations and sustainability solutions, alongside a ticketed conference packed with keynotes, panel discussions, seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities. The festival aims to tackle real-world sustainability challenges while offering practical guidance for business transformation.
At the event, we will take to the stage to share insight into the energy transition and practical steps SMEs can take toward a zero-carbon future. We will also be sharing insights on Ecotricity’s mission to eliminate fossil fuels throughout the event.
Kicking off the festival programme on 9 June, keynote speakers will share the latest climate science, policies, regulations and trends in the opening ceremony, hosted by Benita Matofska, global sustainability campaigner and changemaker. Panel sessions will then cover key topics, such as access to funding, innovations and technologies reshaping industries, the future of energy and the power of storytelling. On day two (10 June), attendees will have the chance to learn directly from businesses, who’ll be sharing their experiences of the challenges, opportunities and rewards of sustainable transformation.
Alan Bailey, Managing Director of Future Leap added: “The Festival of Sustainable Business represents our continued commitment to position the southwest as a leader in sustainability, not just in Bristol, but in the whole region. This year, we’re really looking to expand the possibilities of the festival with a programme that covers energy, housing, built environment, consultancy, sustainable finance and much more, opening the floor to experts and industry leaders to present and discuss areas shaping our present and future. These topics are in line with the West of England’s strategic goals, and we are proud to have them as a headline partner alongside Retrofit West and Ecotricity.”
