Smart meter guides

We’ve put together some handy guides and links together to get you started with your smart meter.

When we install your smart meters we’ll send you these guides to you as part of the smart welcome pack.

As soon as you’ve had a smart meter fitted, it will start working straight away, sending us information about your energy usage – and you won’t need to send us a meter reading again. But if you want to take readings for yourself, or encounter a problem with your smart meter, check your guide first for answers.

Energy Efficiency Advice

It’s not the smart meter that will save you money, it’s how you use the information you’ll get from the meter that will help you make savings. By using a smart meter to get control of what you’re using, you can learn how to save energy – and potentially cut down your bills.

You’ll get a clearer insight into how much energy different appliances use, and you can change your behaviour to make savings. Download our energy saving advice to find out how.
