Affiliate Publisher Cashback Offer Terms and Conditions

2. Any capitalised words are defined in the General Terms unless defined in these Promotion Terms

“Affiliate” means a third-party entity approved by Ecotricity that is authorised to act as an introducer to Ecotricity's website and is responsible for the administration of the Promotion on the Affiliate’s website.

“Applicant(s)” or “you” or “your” means the Ecotricity customer who chooses to sign up to the Promotion.

Out of Contract Rates: means either

(a) you are supplied energy after your fixed term contract has expired; or

(b) you are the new occupier or owner of a property that is supplied energy by Ecotricity but you have not entered into a fixed term tariff contract with Ecotricity

3. Under the Promotion, an Affiliate displays Ecotricity’s energy tariff on its website together with a link to Ecotricity’s website (‘the Affiliate Link’). You may be eligible to claim a financial payment (‘the Cashback’) from the Affiliate by doing the following:

(a) Completing any requirements set out in the Affiliate’s terms and conditions to claim the Cashback

(b) Entering into a contract for the supply of electricity and/or gas (‘Supply Contract’) from Ecotricity for your Property

4. You will only be able to claim the Cashback if you have satisfied the requirements for eligibility on the Affiliate’s website. The eligibility criteria for the Cashback may differ between Affiliates

5. The Affiliate is solely responsible for administering and paying the Cashback. Ecotricity has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the administration, tracking, or payment of the Cashback.

6. Any queries or claims relating to the Cashback must be directed to the Affiliate.

7. You will not be eligible to claim Cashback if;

(a) You are supplied energy on;

i. Out of Contract Rates;

ii. You are supplied on the following tariffs; Domestic Green Variable Tariff

(b) your contract with Ecotricity is;

i. cancelled within 14 days after signing a contract for the supply of electricity and/or gas; or

ii. terminated within 3 months of Ecotricity commencing supply to you; or

iii. otherwise specified by the Affiliate.

(c) you have already applied for a Supply Contract without using the Affiliate Link to make the application

(d) you are a new or existing customer switching to a Deemed Contract, Smart Export Tariff, or Feed-in Tariff

(e) you are an employee of Ecotricity

(f) Ecotricity is unable to provide the supply of energy to your property

(g) You have previously switched to Ecotricity to claim another offer other than this Promotion and then switched away from Ecotricity in the 12 months prior to the date of your new application for a Supply Contract .

(h) You have claimed or are claiming another promotional offer in conjunction with the Promotion within the 12 months prior to the date of your application for a Supply Contract

(i) you do not meet any of the application criteria for a Supply Contract in accordance with Ecotricity’s General Terms

8. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Ecotricity’s General Terms.

9. The Promotion is open to Applicants who are:

(a) UK residents, aged 18 and over

(b) applying this promotion to residential addresses in mainland UK (exc. N.Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands)

(c) applying for the supply of electricity and/or gas from Ecotricity

10. Ecotricity reserves all rights to take action (including legal action) as is considered necessary in its sole discretion in order to prevent or redress any suspected or actual fraudulent activity committed by you

11. Ecotricity shall not be liable for any loss you suffer that;

(a) was caused by the Affiliate

(b) was not anticipated when you applied for the Promotion

(c) Was outside of Ecotricity’s control

(d) You could have reasonably avoided or reduced

(e) Isa business loss including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of opportunity, wasted expenditure
