The numbers have been crunched, and Citizens Advice has announced that we topped their latest rankings for non-domestic energy suppliers.
The latest figures, which cover January to March 2026, mean we have also featured in the top three for five consecutive quarters – ever since we were eligible to join the table.
This also follows us recently topping CAB's rankings for domestic suppliers.
How has Ecotricity topped the CAB rankings?
What makes this meaningful, beyond the recognition itself, is the context. Citizens Advice is one of the UK’s most trusted independent consumer organisations. They don't hand these rankings out on the basis of marketing claims.
Instead, four times a year they assess the number of complaints the largest business energy suppliers receive through the Citizens Advice Consumer Service, The Extra Help Unit, and Energy Ombudsman Service. Then the lower a company scores, the better their complaint handling and customer service.
