This month, we’re really excited to launch our new TV ad! This is the first time we’ve ever put a TV campaign together from pitch to launch, and we’re thrilled to finally be able to share it with you.
We’re targeting specific regions across the country to reach a whole new group of people who might not know about Ecotricity, but want to do their bit for the planet.
More than just an energy supplier
We’re Britain’s greenest energy supplier - but that’s not all. We’re pioneers in the fight for a greener Britain, and we’re the only energy supplier to have declared a climate emergency.
This TV advert is a huge moment in Ecotricity’s history as we’re still a relatively small fish in a big pond (or ocean, if you catch our drift…) but we’ve definitely done a lot. The more customers we have supporting our mission for a greener Britain, the more new green energy sources we can build.

We’ve been fighting climate change for almost 30 years
Back when Dale started Ecotricity, green energy suppliers didn’t exist - in fact, he was laughed out of a meeting for suggesting it. This month, we’re really excited to announce that we’ve been named as a Which? Recommended Provider for Energy Companies 2024, on top of being a Which? Eco Provider. This recommendation is only earned by companies that pass through 15 categories of Which?’s criteria and that are also highly rated by customers, scoring at least 70% in the customer satisfaction ratings. We received four stars for our overall customer service and quality of communications about energy costs.
