Tennis Shropshire
At Ecotricity Business, we have joined forces with Tennis Shropshire to bring to life our shared vision of greener grassroots sport. This partnership is a strong example of sustainability in sport in action, supporting clubs across the county with cleaner energy solutions, practical sustainability initiatives, and expert guidance to help reduce their environmental impact.
Our role as Official Sustainability Partner
As Tennis Shropshire's Official Sustainability Partner, we work closely with clubs to support their transition to renewable energy for sports clubs, provide education around environmental best practices, and deliver initiatives that create long-term impact. The partnership also delivers strong community engagement and brand visibility through events, digital campaigns, and county-wide programmes, connecting with players, coaches, and stakeholders throughout the wider Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) network.
Delivering real sustainability impact
We are committed to delivering real, on-the-ground sustainability in tennis within local communities. Through this partnership, we are actively supporting tennis clubs in reducing their carbon footprint by providing access to renewable energy solutions, practical guidance, and tailored sustainability initiatives.
It also enables direct engagement with clubs, coaches, and decision-makers, creating opportunities to educate, collaborate, and drive meaningful environmental change. This will help embed sustainability into everyday tennis club management and county-wide programmes, ensuring green thinking becomes part of how clubs are run day to day, not just a one-off initiative.
A shared vision for the long term
At the heart of the partnership between Ecotricity Business and Tennis Shropshire is a shared commitment to sustainability, community development, and long-term positive change. We are aligned in our ambition to reduce environmental impact while strengthening grassroots sport, creating a platform that goes beyond short-term visibility to deliver lasting value. By combining our expertise in renewable energy for sports with Tennis Shropshire's deep local reach, we will inspire behavioural change, support clubs on their journey toward greater sustainability in sport, and build a legacy of environmentally responsible tennis that continues to benefit communities for years to come.
