The Electric Highway

We’ve got more than 300 electric vehicle charge points at motorway service stations up and down the country. So you can power your electric car with 100% green electricity when you’re out on the road.

How much does it cost to use the Electric Highway?

It costs 30p per kWh to charge your electric vehicle using an Electric Highway charge point. But if you’re an Ecotricity green energy customer, you’ll get half price charging on the Electric Highway at just 15p per kWh.

How long does the charge last?

You’ll be able to charge your electric car for a maximum of 45 minutes using our Electric Highway charging stations. How far this gets you will depend on the range of your vehicle and the charging speed of your vehicle.
