That's the message from the director of a leading Watford company. Specialist tool company, Trend Machinery has switched to Ecotricity, the world's first green electricity company. Ecotricity is committed to creating new cleaner renewable sources of electricity, like wind power, to replace conventional polluting energy. By switching, Trend Machinery are helping to clean up the environment and reduce the emissions that are causing climate change.
Trend Machinery, based in Watford, produces and distributes cutting tools for routers. This move to Ecotricity is the first of many green initiatives the Company plan to introduce over the coming months. Chairman Jim Phillips explains, "We have taken this step because conventional electricity is one of the biggest causes of excess carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere , a leading cause of climate change."
Dale Vince, managing director of Ecotricity says, "Trend Machinery recognise the importance of environmental responsibility practice and I'm sure their customers will be impressed by their efforts to reduce their environmental impact by opting for safe, clean green energy."
