To celebrate Organic Week the UK's leading green electricity supplier, Ecotricity, is asking the public to try 'organic' electricity and join the fight against global warming. The company creates new 'organic' electricity sources which don't pollute or contribute to global warming. Its current Global Cooling campaign aims to turn one million homes on to green electricity by 2010.
Dale Vince, Ecotricity's Managing Director, says, "The growing popularity of organically produced food shows that people care about the environment. If they also want electricity that doesn't pollute and add to global warming they can make a positive choice by switching to Ecotricity. We're working with the Soil Association to change the way electricity is produced in the UK. Its members are very supportive of our work to deliver electricity from natural sources."
A free 'taste' of Ecotricity!
Ecotricity has donated a prize of one year's free 'organic' electricity to a free draw promoted as part of the 'Organic Taste Experience' roadshow, which will visit a series of venues - for details visit www.organicweek.org.
