2008 was an eventful year for us, and our annual report provides our customers and partners with an overview of what we have achieved in the last year as well as what plans we have for the year ahead.

Our third annual report coincides with the sixth year of growth of our wind parks, helped by the fact that we built our 50th turbine this year - that means we've now built one in eleven of all the windmills in England!

This also marks the fifth year of us investing more per customer on new turbines than any other electricity supplier – green or otherwise.

Top of the green build league

We also came top of the green build league again in 2008 - continuing our commitment to create more self-built sources of green electricity than any other power company.

Over five years we’ve spent an average of £450 building new turbines for green energy – for each and every one of our customers. Our closest rival spent less than £30 per customer over the same period.
