Somerton, Norfolk

We built this windmill near the village of Somerton in 2000, on the edge of the Norfolk broads and it's been producing green energy for almost 20 years.

This wind turbine produces enough green electricity each year to power around 1,000 homes as well as saving over 800 tonnes of CO2 each year. A great demonstration of the capabilities of wind energy.

As we all face the realities of climate change in a world where we can’t afford to keep burning fossil fuels, windmills that utilise renewable energy will become an undeniable and realistic solution.
