East Kilbride, Glasgow
Our first Merchant Wind Power wind park. Providing enough green energy to power over a third of Sainsbury’s distribution centre in Glasgow.
Merchant Wind Power (MWP) is about building wind turbines on industrial sites, delivering green electricity at the point of use.
Built in 2001, we completed our first project at Sainsbury’s, the UK’s first fully commercial wind turbine.
