Two state-of-the-art wind turbines at Michelin’s factory in the heart of Dundee, provide about 30% of the electricity required for the factory which makes about seven million tyres every year.

This posed a real challenge for our ‘Good Neighbour’ policy. But with careful design, construction and the best technology available, we were able to build an elegant, whisper-quiet and powerful wind park providing 100% green energy.

“Ecotricity are pioneers in the ongoing promotion of alternative, cleaner energy sources for heavy industry” – Trevor Haines, Michelin.
