Bambers II, Lincolnshire

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the already impressive Bambers wind park at Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, we asked the local council if we could build six more. And they welcomed the opportunity to support our efforts to build a greener Britain.

Since the first windmills were built, advances in turbine technology and efficiency meant that with just six new machines, we could match the output of the original eight. Each of these new machines can produce 30% more green electricity.

The expansion meant that we could generate an additional 11.5 million kW/h powering almost 3,000 homes every year.
