Whether you've decided to switch your energy supply to us or just moved into a new home that we supply, there are some phrases from your recent letter we think you'd find it helpful to know. To help you to make sense of our terms and conditions and your tariff, we've answered a few questions you might have.
What is a kWh (kilowatt hour)?
A unit of energy equal to the work done by a power of 1,000 watts operating for one hour; or a 40-watt light bulb being left on for 25 hours.
Our Ethical Pricing Policy means all of our customers are always on our latest best price – no matter when they joined us.
No exit barriers
Our customers are free to leave us if they wish, with no penalties or exit fees and no fixed term.
We're working towards generating 100% of our own energy – with energy independence comes price independence and we hope to bridge the price gap further still.
Paying your bills
Bills must be paid within 14 days of the bill date unless we agree otherwise. Details of how to pay your bill can be found over on our Pay Your Bill page or by calling us on 0345 555 7 100.
