Ecotricity is supplying green electricity and gas to all Key2’s sites, which will save them money, give the company a single point of contact and mean they receive just one monthly collective invoice.
Mark Hammond, Managing Director at Key2, said: “Paying attention to the detail is an essential element of our guiding ethos. We encourage our staff to be conscious of their actions and our young people to be mindful of their impact on those around them.
“It is therefore only natural that as a business we do the same, by taking conscious steps to mitigate the impact we have on the environment. Partnering with Ecotricity is just such a step.
“By ensuring we use 100% renewable electricity across all our services we are raising our young people’s awareness of their impact on the environment. We’ll also use Ecotricity’s smart meters to encourage our young people to be conscious of the amount of electricity they are using and - through this - they can learn about and manage the cost and impact of the services they use.”
