Shooters Bottom, Somerset - groundwork complete

The foundation is now complete. Everything has been backfilled and the site looks neat and tidy - ready to start grid works after Christmas.
The turbine's not coming until early Spring. We don't have a definite date yet but watch this space for updates.
The proposed wind turbine will generate up to nearly 7 million units of green electricity each year. The turbine, which will be sited near Chewton
Mendip in Somerset, will provide electricity for up to 2,000 local homes, which is around 5% of all homes in Mendip District.
