A familiar name to many when it comes to 'mini-wind', B&Q needed something a bit bigger when it came to powering their own operations.

So we've teamed up with them in a really exciting project powering their main distribution centre with 100% with New Green Energy. One large majestic wind turbine does the job, and provides more than enough green electricity for the whole site - with some to spare for local homes.

This project sailed through the planning process with widespread community backing.

We recieved comments like "great idea" and "we need more than one". Testament to our Good Neighbour policy - and the fact that the majority of people in the UK do support wind power.
