We hooked up with these guys back in August last year. They've enjoyed meteoric success over the past six months - their cult popularity affirmed with a recent BBC2 series documenting the first year in the life of Tribewanted.com.

Leap-frogging the industrial revolution

While most of the rest of the world toys with 20 or 30% - Fiji have set the world's most ambitious target for the use of renewable energy - 90% by 2010. That's exactly the kind of approach we need if we're going to beat Climate Change.

And Tribewanted are part of this vision. Part online virtual community part social experiment, Tribewanted's aims to develop a sustainable village offering an eco-tourism experience like no other to people from all over the globe.

We supplied them with the micro generation they needed to achieve their own energy independence - going straight from coconut trees to wind turbines!
