Here we blow, here we blow

WELL, blow me! If you hadn't gust already, it's World Environment Day.

And to celebrate, The Sun is encouraging everyone to be a bit greener - by draping a huge banner over a wind turbine.

Britain is ideally placed to benefit from wind power.

And we got a taste of just how strong it can be when a gust sent our banner flapping.

A single turbine like this one in Swaffham, Norfolk, can generate electricity for 2,500 homes.

Figures yesterday revealed the world invested £85 billion in green energy last year, compared to £70 billion spent on fossil fuels.
