Standing 85-metre high above junction 11 of the M4 motorway, the Green Park turbine is the latest product of our MWP scheme.

Built in conjunction with Prudential, this truly impressive icon for a greener future will be seen by more than 100,000 people a day, making it one of Europe 's most visible turbines. The turbine will provide all the power requirements for the business park and for some of the area's local homes.

The turbine will generate around 3.5 million kWh of renewable electricity every year, enough to power 2% of Wokingham District's domestic electricity requirements.

According to Tim Davis, Prudential Portfolio Investment Managers Ltd: “GreenPark is the first business park in the country with a wind turbine on this scale. This is a great example of PruPIM supporting the current debate on sustainability and putting it into practice. It puts GreenPark - and Reading – at the forefront of contemporary thinking.”
