These rankings are based on the number of pence in the pound spent building new sources of green electricity (things like windmills) - that's pence in the pound from electricity bill revenue. It shows you how much of what you spend with them goes to the frontline, the real commitment each supplier actually makes - and these are long term average figures, this is a consistent story.

The blue line marks roughly the level of spending that suppliers need to make, just to meet their minimum legal obligations, under the government's Renewable Obligation. We've made it category C, it's the bare minimum, by law - so you'd expect them all to meet or exceed that, wouldn't you?
