Our Ethical Pricing Policy

Our Ethical Pricing Policy follows a simple philosophy. We treat people the way we like to be treated ourselves, this means:

  • we offer just one simple tariff for electricity and one for gas
  • all of our customers are always on our latest best price – no matter when they joined us and regardless of how they pay (including customers on pre-payment meters)
  • and, our customers are free to leave us if they wish, at any time, with no penalties.

Price Freeze until October 2014

We’re cheaper than the regional standard electricity tariff* of the Big Five for the average customer and the regional standard gas tariff of British Gas (including their £15 dual fuel discount). Extending our price freeze until October 2014 – for our Green Gas and 100% Green Electricity – means we will have held our prices for at least 21 months, during which time the Big 6 have been turning their backs on green electricity and have all increased prices.
