Ecotricity wins approval for Berkshire's first wind turbine

Pioneering green electricity company Ecotricity, is today celebrating after receiving approval from Wokingham District Council to construct a wind turbine in Reading, capable of powering 1,000 local homes and businesses.

The windmill will be sited within the innovative GreenPark Business Park, providing a fabulous backdrop for the state of the art turbine. Fine modern architecture lies within a sympathetically conserved natural setting where plant and wildlife species flourish.
