The Big Red Fightback

4 June 2004

Ecotricity & Ecotech support the British Heart Foundation's Big Red Fightback campaign

During the British Heart Foundation's Heart Week (5th - 13th June), visitors to the Ecotech Centre in Swaffham, Norfolk, will be given the chance to not only raise vital funds to help fight back against heart disease, the UK's single biggest killer, but to improve their own heart health by climbing the 305 steps to the viewing platform on the Ecotricity wind turbine at the centre.

As little as 1p per step will help towards the mountain of money that is needed to save lives through heart research, education, specialist care and providing information about healthy and sustainable living.

Ecotech and Ecotricity are both promoters of a sustainable lifestyle, which can only be fully achieved with a good healthy heart. They are proud to support the British Heart Foundation and its ambition to raise £1 million in the 'Big Red Fightback'.

If you'd like more information on taking part please telephone the Ecotech Centre on 01760 726 100.
