Ecotricity turbine abseil up to maximum capacity

Over one hundred and fifty brave souls from the Norfolk area will be abseiling a staggering 220ft down the Ecotricity wind turbine in Swaffham on Saturday 31 May to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The abseil is now up to its maximum capacity of participants, and unfortunately, Cancer Research UK is not able to take any further registrations.

Helen Wood, event organiser for Cancer Research UK says, "The response we've had from the public for this event has been amazing, people are definitely up for a challenge!!"

Managing Director of Ecotricity, Dale Vince, one of the many daredevils taking part on the day says, "I've made the big leap before and it's a real adrenaline kick! The view from the top is amazing."

If you would like to show your support to those taking part, the first abseil will be going down at 9am.
