Simply 'organic' Ecotricity 9th April 2003
The world's first green electricity company, Ecotricity has just launched a pioneering new green electricity tariff that won't cost customers more than normal polluting electricity, because they match the local electricity supplier's prices. And Simply Organic is delighted to be the first Organic Home Delivery company to offer their customers 'organic' electricity, Sue Alexander, Marketing Director of Simply Organic comments, "We are delighted to work in conjunction with Ecotricity to bring our customers this environmental solution to help an ever increasing problem, it truly reflects the organic ethos that we deliver to our customers. We also think our customers will be impressed by Ecotricity's environmental mission and their keen prices." Reducing the threat of climate change by reducing the emissions created from conventional electricity production is Ecotricity's mission and it is the only licensed electricity company dedicated to building new green energy sources. Every unit of green electricity that Ecotricity creates replaces a unit of polluting electricity. "Ecotricity is synonymous with the principles of organic farming and production. We urgently need to reduce our harmful impacts on our environment and one of the most significant things an individual can do is to switch their home to green electricity. Our partnership with Simply Organic is key in helping us to spread this message and we're delighted to be working with them." says Dale Vince, Managing Director of Ecotricity. Simply Organic customers who switch to Ecotricity will get a £5
Simply Organic gift voucher to spend on their next order (one voucher
per household). Ends. |
