Ecotricity Appoints New Managers

Ecotricity, the UK's leading 'green' electricity supplier and pioneering wind energy developer, is continuing its expansion with two new key appointments in Sales and Marketing.

Robert Waldron, Account Manager, has over 29 years of electricity industry experience. He began his career as an electrician with MEB and advised on the design of water and space heating before moving on to electricity contract sales for Npower.

Robert explained his recent move to 'green' electricity,

"I've spent my whole working life within an industry that harms the environment. Working for Ecotricity means I can now make a positive impact by promoting renewable sources of energy and that's very motivating for me personally."

Paul O'Connor, Sales Manager, is responsible for managing Ecotricity's new Merchant Wind Power initiative as well as electricity sales. He is a business development professional with 15 years experience gained in the finance services sector.

Paul also has a strong interest in the environment and says of his new appointment,

"Wind is playing an increasingly important role in electricity generation and I'm delighted to be involved in such environmentally worthwhile projects. Ecotricity is a quickly growing company which still has enormous industry potential ahead of it."
