Spreading the word about renewable energy is crucial to achieving our environmental aims. We work with private and public sector organisations, both large and small, as well as charities and NGOs. And we rely on the support of our customers and affinity partners to enable us to build new clean, sources of electricity.

Our customers are crucial to achieving our mission - they empower us to build more new sources of green electricity. And more customers means more environmental benefit.

All our customers share a commitment to improving the environment, by reducing the CO2 emissions that cause climate change. Around 30% of the UK's CO2 emissions are derived from conventional electricity generation. By switching to Ecotricity, our customers are helping us to replace old polluting sources of electricity with new clean sources that won't pollute or run out.

The Body Shop, EMI and The Co-operative Bank are just some of the organisations powered by Ecotricity, as well as many small and medium sized businesses, including organic food retailers, local authorities and schools.
